In a business sense he’s either your best friend or your worst enemy… It’s Your Move.
Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing L.A. Real Estate agent/star Josh Altman is an unapologetically cocky, abrasive, businessman and a force to be reckoned with in the high-end Los Angeles Real Estate market. You either love him or hate him, but either way, you recognize his success and his relentless approach to business. He takes this approach and business philosophy and outlines it in his book “It’s Your Move.”
Whether you’re a real estate agent, career minded individual, or a business entrepreneur there are plenty of gems and takeaways to pull throughout book. Be warned, this book is not a step by step guide to selling real estate. If you’re looking for a read solely dedicated to how-to-succeed in real estate, then I would recommend the Altman Brothers training offered through their website (Not free, but worth a look). Another book I consider a good source for best-selling real estate practices would be “The One thing,” and “Millionaire Real Estate Agent” by Keller Williams founder and Real Estate guru Gary Keller.
Both a positive and negaive takeaway from this book is that it’s more of a generalization of productive philosophies and ideals that targeted at developing and focusing on your gut feelings and life experience when comes to taking risks, not being held back by fear of failure, and embracing mistakes. He packages these ideas in the rearrangment of a well-known term used with a slight alteration he calls “Ready Fire Aim,” broken down into three sections addressing the “Ready Fire Aim” philosophy.
“It’s Your Move” is a good read for anyone looking for insight or a new approach in regards to successful business philosophy, or anyone like myself who is a fan of the Million Dollar Listing franchise and the real estate market in general.
